Editorial: Mission: Mars The Press Journal

George Bush has asked his administration to come up with some lofty, overarching goals for his presidency. Meanwhile, a task force led by Vice President Dick Cheney has been considering the future of the United States in space. The president, it is said, is open to an ambitious space program. Let us hope he truly is, because right now the program is floundering, without clear long-term goals or the political support
