Did NASA Fake Data To Hide Mars Anomalies?

Aug 30 - Did NASA post low-resolution, noisy data on a Mars Odyssey mission website, while knowingly withholding the "real" data?

That's the claim made by longtime Mars anomaly researcher Richard C. Hoagland. The "real" high-resolution image of the Cydonia region of Mars is providing startling new evidence which Hoagland calls "the biggest breakthough in his 20 years of researching Mars anomalies." The Cydonia region, also the home to the famous Face on Mars, has long been controversial since the first images were taken during the Viking mission of the 1970s. As of this writing, the NASA/THEMIS site is hosting the low-resolution "Faked" image. Meanwhile, Hoagland was provided with software from a division of Kodak to enhance the high-resolution image which apparently shows evidence of heat sources coming from the so-called D&M Pyramid. ![]() Enhanced IR image of D&M Pyramid Click for larger view (Courtesy Enterprise Mission)
Hoagland revealed the news on the Thursday night broadcast of COAST TO COAST AM. Hoagland also reported that his website The Enterprise Mission has been "under serious attack" from unknown sources including denial of service attacks and at least one attempted firewall breach (apparently to download or erase their hard drive.) Also reportedly attacked is a company called Research Services, Inc (a division of Kodak) which provided Hoagland with software to enhance the images.
