Steering committee member Marc Boucher recently visited Japan to help promote the Mars Society and its first project, the Mars Arctic Research Station. He met with individuals and representatives from several Japanese companies after much ground work had been done by Jun Okushi, the Society’s original Japanese representative. Support for the Mars Society in Japan is growing as people within the industry recognize that Mars will be the next planetary body that humans visit.
