UA Students Design Award-Winning Mars Greenhouse Arkansas NBC

Students at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville won first place in an international competition for their design and construction of a chamber that will help NASA scientists determine the requirements needed to grow food on Mars. Willie Dillahunty of Gentry, James Geurtz of Fort Smith and Clay McDaniel of Stuttgart are biological engineering students. They placed first for their project in a competition sponsored by the Society of Engineering in Agricultural, Food, and Biological Systems.
