America may be heading back to the moon after an absence of more than 30 years. President George W. Bush is said to be preparing to give a speech in which he will announce a revamped US space program, including a trip to the moon. He is tipped to give the speech on December 17, the centenary of the first flight by the Wright Brothers. But he might wait until his January State of the Union address.
